You will seek Me and find Me,

when you search for Me with all your heart.

I will be found by you…. (Je 29:13-14)

You can find God - To find has the idea of to meet with, to discover and to know.  It is not the idea of knowing about as a fact alone – but a personal discovery.  You, personally, can find God – it is a promise!

No hindrance can keep you from finding the Lord.  It does not matter how old or how young you are.  It does not matter what weaknesses you find in yourself – you, personally, can find God – it is a promise! 

The reason you can find God – is He wants to be found by you.   God desires for you personally to know Him, love Him and walk with Him.  God in His great kindness – will close the gap between you and Him – He will meet you.  If you could see this in almost a visual way – you would realize – God’s reaching out to you far exceeds your reaching out to Him – He wants you to find Him.

The key – is to seek Him – not half heartedly or lazily – but with all your heart.  If you will cry out for and pursue Him, not be satisfied along the way – but look for and ask and seek Him – God will close the gap between you and Himself.  You, personally can find God – it is a promise!

Can I just encourage you today – seek the Lord and He will be found by you!

Seek the Lord while He may be found,

Call upon Him while He is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way,

And the unrighteous man his thoughts;

Let him return to the Lord,

And He will have mercy on him;

And to our God,

For He will abundantly pardon. (Is 55:6-7)
