I am Kevin W.Thatcher, the Assistant Pastor of Calvary Chapel Roswell, New Mexico. God certainly uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27). 

I am originally from Staten Island, New York, but have been living in New Mexico since 1986. Two events that changed my life forever occurred a month apart; I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior. I accepted Him during a Wednesday night service at Calvary Chapel of South Bay in February 1982, and a month later, I married the love of my life, my bride and joy - Kathy. We have five daughters and one son, along with seven grandchildren. God is simply amazing.

I am excited to live in these times and count it a privilege that God Almighty has placed me here at this time. I pray that we will walk in the good works He has prepared for us, according to Ephesians 2:10. My continual prayer is that we, as the body of Jesus Christ, live out Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers”.
